ISLA began with a father’s love for agriculture, nature and his daughter’s future. He grew up with soil on his hands, among orchards where the oldest trees had watched over three or four generations of the same family. When his daughter Ayla was born, one question would not leave him.
“What if we could plant something today that our children and grandchildren could cherish tomorrow?”
The answer was an olive tree. Few living things are as patient, as generous or as quietly enduring. An olive sapling planted this year can still be giving fruit long after all of us are gone — a living thread between one generation and the next.
Through ISLA, every annual membership helps plant a new olive sapling in Türkiye. A tree with your name, a story that grows with your family, and a connection to the traditions of the Turkish countryside.

The first grove
One hundred families. One hundred trees.
Our first grove begins with 100 founding families. Each will have a tree planted and named in their honour, and a place in the story of ISLA from its very first season. As the grove grows, so does the community around it — families, friends and cooks who share a love for the land and its oldest tree.
